Thank you for contacting the Multidisciplinary Functional Abdominal Pain Program at Boston Children's Hospital. Our team understands that abdominal pain has a major impact on functioning and quality of life. Many of our patients who are experiencing chronic pain have seen several doctors and have tried many strategies yet still remain confused and frustrated by their abdominal pain. Our Multidisciplinary Functional Abdominal Pain Team (FAP) specializes in identifying and controlling triggers of pain. We also look beyond the abdominal pain your child may be experiencing to see how other conditions may be complicating recovery, such as headaches, fatigue, sleep disorders, nutritional issues, anxiety, or depression. Our team will work with you to address all of these concerns with the goal to help your child return to a happier, healthier, and productive life.
This data collection system will provide us with a background related to your child's medical history and chief complaint, and allow our team to best prepare for your upcoming visit.
The data you put into the form will be stored securely on a server within the Children's Hospital protected network. While we may use the data we collect to further additional research, we will not share individuals' names or any other protected health information (PHI) that may identify the participants.
If you have any questions, need assistance filling out the form, or have feedback for us about your user experience, please contact our clinical administrative staff at 617-355-6055.
